A Film wih Me in It

«Pierce: Mark, Mark, when I went upstairs there were two people who were not alive, in your flat, were it not?

Mark: Yeah

Pierce: How many are there now?"»

RoundAboutWay - A Film With Me In It

What:

A Film with Me in It

Who:

Ian Fitzgibbon (D), Mark Doherty (S)

With:

Dylan Moran, Mark Doherty, Keith Allen, Amy Huberman

When:

2008

Where:

Ireland

How:

Cinematography, Characters, Colour, Language (English), Live Action, Medium, Script, Slow

Why:

  • How bad can your life become in just one day?

  • How can you be innocent when people are dying around you like flies? Can it all work out in the end?

Extra:

This film really challenges your tolerance for 'dark irony'. Luna, personally, loves it, but she's a very bad person.

I was very impressed by the bleakness of the photography and by how the soundtrack is literally fused with what happens on screen.
